Hello, August… and hola to another exciting clothing swap event!👋🏼☀️

@micasitaphilly and
@babygeargroup (Philly’s local baby gear library) are teaming up on another event for sustainable mamás and papás. Declutter your home of things baby’s outgrown and trade for the wardrobe they’ll need for the next stage!

Mi Casita Spanish Immersion Preschool is opening their doors in Fairmount to host our next clothing swap, helping our neighborhood familias swap – not shop!

This event is open to all and we especially welcome las madres y los padres from @micasitaphilly, @micasitapoplar, @micasitamainline, @micasitaspringhouse, and @micasitabebe to join in!

WHAT TO BRING:
👶🏼 Baby clothing/accessories for NB-5T
🤰Maternity clothing
🍼Small items for feeding, carrying, etc.
🧼 Items in clean, working, good condition!
❌Please no large items as we have limited space!

It helps the swap run smoothly if swaps are organized by size in advance. Reminder to bring a reusable shopping bag to take home your haul!

HOW IT WORKS:
The swap is FREE! Think “bring a bag, leave with a bag.” The swap will operate on the honor system, so please try to leave with roughly the amount you brought in if you’re able. One exception – MATERNITY! If you’re expecting, there is no need to bring anything in exchange. All leftover, unclaimed items will be donated.
