Haverford YMCA Gymnastics Center Ribbon Cutting

The Greater Philadelphia YMCA will unveil its brand new, state-of-the-art- art Haverford YMCA Gymnastics Center with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house on Thursday, May 8: tour the new facility, watch demos by the gymnastics team, meet the coaches, and even try the equipment!

This dedicated space reflects the explosive growth of the Y’s gymnastics program and will host classes, team training, and potential competitions. The center was inspired, in part, by then 11-year-old gymnast Abi, who advocated for a dedicated space, which is now led by decorated NCAA champion and new head coach, Natalie Wojcik.

The 11,000 sq. ft. facility — located at 4 Raymond Drive, Suite C — will feature a foam pit, competition floor, tumbling track, vaults, bars, and beams. It will allow Haverford’s gymnastics program to serve more than 1,000 youth per 7-week session and support more than 100 members of the Haverford Gymnastics team (who competed in the YMCA Nationals last summer).
