Montgomery County Agricultural Fair (77th Annual)

The Montgomery County Agricultural Fair returns to the Gaithersburg Fairgrounds August 14–22, 2026, for nine days of family-friendly entertainment, agricultural exhibits, food, contests, and grandstand events.

This year’s “Barn in the USA” themed fair celebrates America’s 250th anniversary and features Monster Trucks, the Sheehy-sponsored Demolition Derby, rodeo performances, Touch-a-Truck, livestock exhibits, carnival rides, live demonstrations, and community competitions including cheese carving, flower arranging, and a fashion show.

Families can enjoy free admission daily for children 11 and under, along with the Fair Reading Program for children ages 2–12 offering rewards such as free rides, soda, and ice cream. Additional highlights include food vendors, returning favorites like the Cheese Booth and Ice Cream Barn, and new featured foods such as New Orleans-style snowballs, chicken souvlaki, crabby fries, and Krispy Kreme burgers.

Free parking and shuttle service are available from Montgomery College’s Rockville and Germantown campuses. Paid parking is available on-site at the Perry Parkway entrance.
