Mothership: Free Family Day

Celebrate artist mothers with us! RSVP to a free morning tour and conversation with current Artists-in-Residence while sending the little ones to make art in our studio. Drop-in activities for all ages and artist box viewings are also available throughout the day.

Artist Walk + Talk
11:00 am–12:00 pm | RSVP required
Stroll the galleries with Artists-in-Residence Mildred Beltré Martinez, Julia Chiang, and Aimee Koran as they discuss their practice as an artist/mother. Tour led by Soft/Cover curator and co-founder of Art Mamas, Katy Donoghue. Bringing children? Send the little ones to our studio for activities led by FWM Education Staff.

Family Workshops + Archive Presentations

Come to our studio to make art together with activities guided by our Education staff. Then explore process materials related to projects of FWM Artists-in-Residence who are also mothers.
