PECO Family Jams: The Community Collage Quilt Project

Isaiah Zagar, creator of Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens, says he connects with people by making art with them. Philadelphia CollageWorks shares and explores this desire for connection through their Community Collage Quilt Project. They invite people across the city to make collage squares to add to their growing paper quilt. In the end, the quilt will be as colorful and unique as our city. Come make a collage, and add your voice to this ongoing community project!
Tour our fully mosaicked basement at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 p.m. and learn how community members have contributed to the mosaics of Isaiah Zagar.
PECO Family Jams are PMG’s family-oriented art making programs, held on the second Sunday of every month between noon and 4:00 pm. Crafts and basement tours are included with regular admission to PMG. Purchase your tickets in advance.
