PECO Free First Sunday Family Day: Moments that Matter

FreeAs we ring in the new year, we’re pausing to reflect on the moments that mattered most in 2023! We invite you and your family to revisit classics in our collection and to create new masterpieces and memories at our artmaking stations. Catch special performances by Latin fusion band Guachinangos throughout the afternoon and be sure to see Marie Laurencin: Sapphic Paris before it closes on January 21. Access to the collection and special exhibition is free, but registration is required.
Registration opens Thursday, January 4, at 10am.

Join us for art activities, a scavenger hunt, and play. Perfect for the whole family—ages 2 and up.

Storytime with Author Alyssa Reynoso-Morris
Children’s book author Alyssa Reynoso-Morris writes stories about home, family, food, and the fun places she has been. Today, she leads interactive storytime, Q&A, and crafting sessions.

Performances: Guachinangos
Guachinangos is a Philly-based band that fuses Mexican son jarocho with Colombian cumbia and other Latin American rhythms. Sing along and move to the music!
The band also provides free music classes to Latinx youth in New York and Philadelphia through the Guachinangos Youth Academy, in partnership with Philadelphia nonprofit Juntos.
