Small Language Shifts: Big Impacts on Kids Workshop

Join us for an enriching workshop at Smith Memorial Playground on Sunday, November 17, from 10 am to 11 am, featuring Assistant Professor Ariana Orvell from Bryn Mawr College. The session, titled “This is How You Do It: How Small Shifts in Language Impart Big Messages to Young Children,” will empower you to transform everyday conversations into tools for broadening perspectives and conveying societal norms and life lessons to children. Prof. Orvell will guide you through data, and lead exercises and discussions to help you seamlessly integrate these concepts into your daily interactions.
