A Family-Friendly Paradise at Shady Brook Farm in Yardley, PA
Looking for a fun activity for the family? Look no further, Shady Brook Farm has it all! Shady Brook Farm is located in the heart of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. There is so much to do at Shady Brook, I recommend setting aside a few hours for your visit so you can fit in all of the activities. Keep reading and watch the video below to find out what you can do at Shady Brook Farm.
Let’s start out by saying this farm is a family-friendly fall paradise! This is not just a farm where you pick your own, go to the market, and head home – although you can do all of those things. But there are SO many activities for kids and adults of all ages, and I mean SO many activities.
So, let’s get into the specifics of the activities around the farm…
Shady Brook offers tractor rides to the apple orchard, where you can pick your own farm-grown apples, berries, and other seasonal fruits and crops. They also have a pumpkin patch where you can search the fields for the perfect pumpkin.
For the younger kids:
The little ones can enjoy letting out some energy on the giant jumping pillow, riding on the cow train, coloring the chalk truck, riding a bike on the SBF 500 pedal go-kart track, and visiting the farm animals.
For the older kiddos and adults:
For the older kids and adults, there are countless activities! Let’s begin with the Farmyard Adventure course, you can engage in a fun obstacle course of climbing, crawling, and jumping until you get to the end. There is also a HUGE coronado slide, a giant slide you ride down on while sitting in a tube. There is also a sports zone with tons of backyard games. There is also a gem mining station, interactive exhibits, and much more!
For the Adults:
Now for the adults. Live music, fun brews, bonfires, coffee, and the unWINEd series. Adults can enjoy all the kid-friendly attractions at the farm, I sure did! But, as an adult, I love the live music and drinks offered around the farm. Grab a drink, dance a little, and wander the corn maze while listening to live music. There are also a variety of food offerings; from pulled pork sandwiches to loaded perogies and apple cider donuts, the options are endless.
