The Oval Pop-Up

IBX Summerfest is basically a summer-long party along the waterfront—and it’s designed with families in mind. From roller skating and mini-golf to carnival rides and cotton candy, there’s enough here to fill a whole afternoon (and tire the kids out by bedtime!).
The roller rink is the main attraction, and skates can be reserved online to skip the line. You’ll also find arcade games, rides for toddlers and big kids, and great food options—from ice cream to BBQ.

Wawa Welcome America Festival

If you’re looking for a celebration that builds up to a big finish, Wawa Welcome America is it. Spanning over two weeks, this citywide celebration honors both Juneteenth and the Fourth of July, with tons of free events for families.
Kick things off with the Juneteenth Block Party at the African American Museum (June 19), then head to Kidchella at Smith Playground (June 20) for live kid-friendly music and fireworks. Throughout the festival, you’ll find outdoor concerts, museum days, cultural experiences, and capped off with a massive Fourth of July concert and fireworks show on the Parkway.
