One of William Penn’s five original squares, Franklin Square park is steeped in history and brimming with fun for everyone. Bordering Philadelphia’s Historic District and the Old City and Chinatown neighborhoods, the park offers visitors and residents seven acres of tranquil nature, the colorful Parx Liberty Carousel, the one-of-a-kind Philly Mini Golf course, and the renowned SquareBurger, all centered around the beautifully restored fountain which was built in 1838.
