Going out to eat with kids can be quite stressful if you donโt know where to go!ย In this blog, we’ll take you through some of the best family-friendly restaurants in Philadelphia, ensuring that your dining experience is not only delicious but also enjoyable for the whole family.
Taqueria Amor
This family friendly restaurant is located in one of our favorite neighborhoods, Manayunk. Taqueria Amor is a beautiful restaurant has a great kids menu and serves amazing Mexican food and delicious margaritas. The best part is there seasonal themes! During certain holidays and seasons, Taqueria Amor transform itโs restaurant into a new space. Recent themes include a Grinch theme and a Taylor Swift popup. Taqueria Amor is also located on Main Street, so you can stroll the street and check out the local shops, bars or parks nearby.

Frankford Hall
Beer, bratz, and fun! Frankford hall is a german beir garten style restaurant that is surprisingly super kid friendly! They will often host events with kid-friendly pop-ups from PlayArts with sensory tables and crafts. During the winter months, take your littles to meet santa and see then โsnowโ. This is not a proper sit down and get served restaurant, you order at the window and get a table number. We love going to Frankforf Hall!

Emmy Squared
Emmy Squared Pizzaโs Philadelphia location offers an amazing and beautiful space perfect for dining with the family. We really enjoyed our time here and the service was incredible, with a very friendly and attentive staff. While their main dining room has plenty of tables and a bar, they also have an amazing and huge roof deck that is open during the nice weather seasons! Their kidโs menu has something for everyone and interchangeable sides for our picky eaters.

Craft Hall
a huge family friendly spot offering a brewery, restaraunrt, arcade and indoor playground. This is a paradise for families! You can sit and enjoy sports and friends while your kids run around and have fun. There is a HUGE pirate ship playground with a twisty slide right inside the brewery. The best seats in the house are the picnic tables inside the play area. Have a video game fanatic? This is the spot for you, you can also enjoy classics on the couch like supermario world.

Thirsty Dice
We love Thirsty Dice! Thirst Dice is a board game bar & restaurant providing games for kids of all ages during any hour they are open! They offer a limited kids menu but Lily tends to be happy with anything on either menu, especially the mac and cheese! Each table gets a game tender that assists you in picking and playing the game you choose!

Pizzeria Stella
Pizzeria Stella is perfect for when you want to go out for a โnicer mealโ. You can pick from a variety of small pizzas, pastas, and salads. We all LOVE the pene ala vodka, so we typically share a pizza and the pasta. They have high chairs and kids cups. They do not have a kids menu, so I was always wondering why families love going – UNTIL I WENT. The pizzas come out so fast, you dont have to worry about a hangry child. Something else cool is that you can watch the pizzas being made at the bar. Oh, and dont forget to try the gelato!

Hard Rock Cafe
A staple spot in most main cities, the Hard Rock Cafe in Philadelphia caters to families. They host family friendly events; like trick or treating during Halloween. They also have a great kids menu, coloring, and fun cups for the kids. We went during the Messi Kids promotion and Lily even got a soccer ball souvenir to take home. She loved walking around and looking at all of the memorabilia.

The Landing Kitchen
The Landing Kitchen is located in Manayunk/Bala Cynwyd so not technically Philadelphia. Perfect for a nice day, they put out yard games like cornhole, bocce ball, and giant connect four. During the warmer months, The Shack opens and serves up icecream and sweet treats! Not only is the food top notch, but the kids will be entertained so you can enjoy it.
