There is nothing sweeter than a day trip to a local farm with your family. From picking your own seasonal fruits and vegetables to family friendly activities and entertainment, a trip to the farm will surely have something for everyone!

Johnsons Corner Farm – Medford, NJ
Johnson’s Corner Farm is filled with activities for the family! One of our favorite things to do at the farm is visit the Animal Farm and feeding the animals. In the Discovery Barnyard Playground, you can enjoy enjoy a wide range of activities:

Linvilla Orchards is known for its diverse selection of fruits, including apples, peaches, strawberries, cherries, and more. Visitors often have the opportunity to pick their own fruit during the harvest season.
Linvilla Orchards offers a range of family-friendly activities throughout the year. This can include hayrides, corn mazes, petting zoos, and pony rides. During the fall, they are known for their pumpkin patches and Halloween-themed events. There are play areas for children, including a playground and open spaces where families can enjoy picnics! The orchard hosts various festivals and events to celebrate different seasons. For example, they may have a Peach Festival in the summer, an Apple Festival in the fall, and a Holiday Celebration in winter.

Hellerick’s Family Farm – Doylestown, PA
Hellerick’s Family Farm is located in Doylestown, PA – just a quick drive from the city. There are so many things that you can do here with kids! Here are a few things that stood out most:
- Aerial Adventures: includes 9 ziplines, crossing 21 elements/bridges and a free-fall leap off the 30-foot central tower. You can zip, climb and free-fall as many times as you can in 1.5 hours. Ages 12+
- Adventure Farm: General Admission includes entry to the 18 acre Adventure Farm area which includes a Wagon Ride, 5 acre Corn Maze, Farm animals, 3 slides, Tractor Tire playground and 40+ activities for children and adults of all ages.
- Silo Wall: The wall is 35ft tall and has 6 different sides. Each side has its own level of difficulty, 3 sides are the easy, 2 sides are harder and 1 side is the hardest. Ages 5+
Hortulus Farm – Newtown, PA
Hortulus Farms is a family friendly destination in Newtown, PA. They host many seasonal events such as Christmas at Hortulus, wildflower festivals, fall festivals and much more! Merrymead Farm – Lansdale, PA
Merrymead Farm is located in Lansdale, PA. This family friendly farm is full of fun for everyone. You can visit the farm animals and even see the milking process from 3:30PM – 6:30PM daily. Merrymead also has seasonal events such as Fall Harvest with tractor rides and face painting! One of the highlights of your trip will be the delicious handmade ice cream!
Maple Acres Farm – Plymouth Meeting, PA
Located in Plymouth Meeting, Maple Acres Farm is a beautiful destination to visit for the family. We actually got our Fall photo taken in the flower fields here. Some activities at Maple Acres Farm include:
